Coffee and Carbon
Coffee and Carbon is an initiative that has been brought into Lloret by our Sustainability Coordinator, Grace. The sessions are available for both Lloret Intelligent Buildings and Lloret Fire, office and site employees. We come to together in our boardroom and over Teams every quarter to discuss everything surrounding sustainability at Lloret.
We have had a total of 3 Coffee and Carbons, thus far, with each session having a different focus for our employees to discuss and learn about. Sustainability and embodied carbon are a current conversation surrounding the future of our industry, as we are all looking at ways to incorporate more sustainable practices into all parts of our business. It is therefore very apparent and important that we all need to be on the same page and understand how our systems and methods of practice meet clients’ demands with new environmental targets for buildings to adhere to across London.
The morning gives the company the opportunity to learn as well as have a discussion over some relatively new but very important concepts. From celebrating Earth Day to learning about EPDs and TM65s, after seeing an increase in our clients requesting this information on major projects, we wanted to ensure everyone understood thoroughly.
We are all looking forward to the next topic of conversation and being enlightened in the next Coffee and Carbon.
